Overview
The Temporary Graduate visa allows international students who have recently graduated from an Australian educational institution to live, study and work in Australia temporarily. This visa has two streams: the Graduate Work stream and the Post-Study Work stream.

Eligibility Requirements
- Graduate Work stream requirements:
- Recent graduate from an Australian institution
- Nominated occupation on the relevant skilled occupation list
- Skills assessment for nominated occupation
- Post-Study Work stream requirements:
- First student visa granted on or after November 5, 2011
- Degree level qualification or higher
- Recent graduate from an Australian institution

Restrictions & Conditions
- Temporary visa only
- Must meet health insurance requirements
- Cannot apply for another substantive visa while holding this visa
- Limited to one Temporary Graduate visa per lifetime

The visa duration depends on your qualification and when you received your first student visa. Bachelor degree holders typically receive 2-4 years, Masters degree holders 3-5 years, and PhD graduates 4-6 years.
